SIGHT NORTH EAST EXHIBITION 2010 Tyne Sound News will have a stand at this event and we would be delighted to meet you in person. Sight North East is the largest exhibition of equipment, technology, services and information held annually in the North East for people of all ages who are blind or partially sighted. This years exhibition is on Wednesday 8th September and due to the growth and popularity of the event there is a prestigious new venue which is St James' Park Football Stadium. The event will take place in the Bamburgh Suite at the stadium and is fully accessible with plenty of seating. Entry is free. the doors open at 10am and the exhibition will end around 4pm. SUPPORT & COUNSELLING SERVICE The Emotional Support and Counselling Service at the Sight Service in Gateshead has now been extended to visually impaired people living in Newcastle. This service offers the time and space to talk about the impact that sight loss has had on you.
